Tea giving is a kind-spirit Taiwanese tradition. Villagers place complementary tea refreshments in mountain pavilions for travelers to enjoy; thus naming the tradition "Tea Giving".
Feeling the need of introducing and expanding this warm-hearted gesture, PEGA D&E took the hospitable tradition and turned it into a modern gift basket. Different from the usual round tin can design, PEGA D&E gave "Tea Giving" a new look, a rectangular paper holding bag. Using white Kraft paper, "Tea Giving" achieves a classy and smooth exterior design. The holder of the bag is braided with unprocessed yellow Kraft paper. The combination of the exterior and the holder symbolizes traditional tea giving in modern style.
The design of "Tea Giving" is clean and classy with tea leaves over the white Kraft background sending a sense of peace and Zen. This design is also environmentally friendly due to the easily decomposable and recyclable nature of Kraft paper. Furthermore, the graphic design the product to consume minimal carbon ink
