At June 2011, PEGA D&E designed and set up a Computex exhibition for Pegatron Corporation. Dream Factory showcased Pegatron's unique strength as a Design and Manufacturing Service (DMS) to deliver product value through innovation.
The exhibition emphasizes the source of creativity, where nothing becomes something substantial. Inspirations and innovations are origins of the end-products; through research, investigation, and experimentation with cutting-edge technology, designers transform these abstract concepts into tangible, relevant products. PEGA D&E not only is full of creativity and talent, but also possess the manufacturing capabilities to bring these concepts into reality.
Upon entering, window framing, fans, and pallets set the atmosphere. Chalkboard and rough sketches reveal the work done behind the scenes. Touring the Dream Factory exhibition from beginning to end, visitors can clearly experience the flow from conception to production. Starting with inspirations, trends, and observations of the world, ideas for concepts and materials emerge. These are then refined and finalized into real, marketable products. The exhibition not only allows visitors to see the process of making a product, but also invites them to interact with the displayed items. By highlighting process, Dream Factory provides greater insight to the inner workings of Pegatron.
