In the Cape 7, PEGA D&E has created one of the world’s smallest and most lightweight desktop computers. It is powered by the Intel® Atom™ processor, which is Intel’s smallest chip. At only 2cm thick and weighing around 500 grams, the Cape 7 is comparable in size to a standard router, making it highly portable while on the road and space-saving when in the home or office.
More than its compact size, the Cape 7 is also extremely quiet due to its fan-less construction. Other elements of the design have also been simplified to lower the product's manufacturing cost, increase its speed to market and reduce the amount of energy it consumes. This allows the Cape 7 to be easily customized for different markets and for manufacturing savings to be passed to the end user.
